M & G

What words can really accurately describe Moya & Gavin’s Wedding? Epic? Adventurous? Out of this world?

Probably a combination of all of the above!

From the start I knew Moya & Gavin wanted something different. These two amazing individuals wanted something that was truly once in a lifetime.

Living in Donegal definitely helped facilitating this epic Wedding. It is by far the most rugged and wild part of Ireland I have ever visited! You can turn your head in any direction and see picturesque scenery that will literally make your jaw drop.

We began the morning with Moya and her bridesmaids getting their hair and makeup done in a local Salon, here I was accompanied by the talented Fergal McGrath for the photography.

The ceremony took place in the beautiful local church which was then followed by some great photoshoots in the Dunlewey abandoned church and various locations along the way.

Unfortunately the wind on the day was incredibly strong so the photoshoot was postponed for another day and we all headed back to the hotel for the rest of the celebrations.

We had made plans to re-shoot three days later in Glenveagh national park and also climb Errigal, but this will be covered in a separate post…

I can’t recommend Caimin highly enough. He went above and beyond to ensure he got the best shots and we both felt so at ease with him, nothing was ever a problem. His relaxed yet professional style of working is what sets him apart from other videographers. He has an excellent eye for detail and his footage speaks for itself. Top class. We got our highlights reel and it’s fantastic…we can’t stop watching it. The drone footage he got was also surreal! Choosing Caimin as our videographer was definitely the best decision we made during the wedding planning. Thank you Caimin for joining us on our wedding day and and also climbing to the summit of Errigal with us; you captured our special day so beautifully. We will be forever grateful.
